Exploring Fall in TN with Fisher's Off-Road Tours

On a crisp fall morning we made our way along the historic Natchez Trace Parkway, one of America’s oldest roads, to a special destination in Williamsport, TN - Fisher’s Off-Road Tours. 

This was the best day ever:  a perfect weather day, daring, fun trails surrounded by Tennessee’s natural beauty, and some of the most hospitable hosts in all of our state welcoming us for our great adventure. 

We purposely dressed in white to show just how dirty we would get, though due to drought conditions we didn’t get as dirty as we intended. We had a blast, though, got soaked from head to toe, and laughed so hard we almost busted a gut. This ORV experience is one we hope to repeat again and again.

Here’s how the day went. 

We were greeted by our guide Patrick who immediately welcomed us and helped us with our safety equipment. Our group included five side by side vehicles with 14 guests ranging in ages from young to us older ones. Patrick made sure our vehicles were clean, shiny, and running properly. All we had to do was load up and roll out.

We were given instructions by the drivers on safe operation, and could communicate easily with Patrick throughout the exciting trail ride. He alerted us to historical sites, road crossings, wildlife, changes in road conditions, hazards and, most importantly, water crossings. We traversed more than 30 water crossings ranging from very shallow to deep water.  Some of the fun was to see how much water we could splash on ourselves and the vehicles behind us. Afterall, we were determined to finish the trip with our white clothes showing just how intense the ride had been! 

We were in no hurry, and were encouraged to stop frequently to stretch our legs, admire the beautiful scenery, and enjoy some of our state’s glorious waterfalls.  

Here’s our advice: Run, don't walk to Fisher’s Off-Road Tours. Bring your family, friends, and colleagues. This is one of the most fun days we’ve had in a very long time. The staff at Fisher’s will plan a trip for you that will exceed all your expectations.  This is perfect for birthdays, bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, anniversaries, reunions, or just a relaxing day immersed in the natural wonders of Tennessee.. 

That night, as we relaxed under the starlit sky of Hickman County, TN, we reflected on the beauty and fun we had experienced. We were lucky to have had Patrick as our guide. He pointed out historical sites that we never knew about and beauty that a camera cannot capture. No need, as we have the beauty of this day in our memories for always.
