Fall Family Fun at Grandaddy's Farm

Updated: Dec 14, 2022

Found at 454 Highland Ridge Rd. Estill Springs is Grandaddy’s Farm. This farm has become a HOT SPOT in the fall and people in the community countdown the days till the farm opens their barn doors so they can enjoy the treats and activities they offer.

You are greeted by the friendly staff and welcomed to the farm warmly and they are available throughout their facility to assist you in any way possible.

The farm is laid out to be easy to access the features they have painstakingly created. It was heartwarming to see so many children, and adults enjoying the spots and not on their phones and electronic devices.

We started our day at the Pig Races, everyone was cheering on the little piglets as the gate opened for their favorite pig to win. Sausage won the first event, one young man near me was telling us how the piggies sound. So cute!

The pens were set up so patrons could feed the animals with no touch; this was a very nice way to feed them. They have pvc pipe shoots to drop the feed into and the animals know where to get the treats.

They provided many activities for the young and older ones to enjoy including, basketball shoot in a piece of farm equipment, massive bubbles, jumping pads, corn bins, slides, tunnels, and many more.

The hayride was the mode of transportation to the pumpkin patch, it was comfortable and safe as well as a great way to sit down and enjoy the ride. All ages enjoyed the opportunity to stop and relax after playing on the many attractions. But that all was just a rest for when they arrived to pick their pumpkins. There were so many choices and some had a hard time picking the perfect pumpkin. Back on board the hayride they were comparing and showing off their finds.

The main attractions are their Corn Mazes, 3 of them 2 smaller ones for the younger ones. But the main one is the big one that is a train locomotive. It was our first corn maze and we enjoyed playing in the maze and meeting the other visitors.

Grandaddy's is famously known for their Apple Cider Donuts and their frozen apple cider. Both were worth the drive to enjoy. Their market also provides other fall merchandise. Also there is a nice place to grab a meal and sit down to watch the kids play.

Make plans to go visit Granddaddy’s Farm this season. You will be glad you did.
