Experience Tennessee's Hey Y'all duo, Dano and Mary, recently attended CaveFest on October 8th and 9th at The Caverns. Here's a recap of some of their favorite happenings at the event.
We're at The Caverns for their first ever CaveFest event. WOW: This place is packed with people, campers, tents, and vehicles of all kinds. The Caverns really nailed this festival! They have ample space for all the campers, vendors, and parking for those not staying on property.
The check-in process was quick and simple, and finding our parking spot was no problem at all. The number of people to assist was impressive, and everyone was very kind and helpful. Employees at The Caverns excel at welcoming guests with a smile and a happy attitude.
A number of campers came in early on Friday to set up early and enjoy the magnificent views and fellowship with other festival-goers. Throughout the campground, shoppers will find a variety of food trucks and vendors selling custom art, tie-dyed shirts, and handcrafted fire pits.
Who doesn't like live music in a cave? The Big Mouth Cave remains the signature attraction. We were able to watch incredible acts both in the Cave and at the Amphitheater.
When the sun was setting, the temperature dropped and it was time for the blankets to come out. Above the mountain, with the fall colors just appearing, a full moon was rising, creating a perfect evening for music to be played.
Everyone from young to old were up dancing and enjoying the beautiful music. A night at The Caverns with good music is something you won't forget.
