Peach Festival at Neal Creek Retreat: A Sweet Summer Celebration!

Preparations are in full swing for our inaugural Peach Festival at Neal Creek Retreat. We're diligently tending our peach orchard as the fruit ripens, and we’re excited to announce that our peaches, apples, and other fruits have been approved to use the Pick TN logo.

We are thrilled to partner with Summit Hill Adventures of Shelbyville, who will be bringing along a petting zoo! Adam and Tia Zanghi will bring a 40-foot trailer full of farm animals for everyone to pet and feed.

Our festival will feature numerous food and craft vendors, as well as services from a massage therapist and a chiropractor. We’re especially delighted to welcome Final Crossing, a local Bluegrass Gospel band, who will be performing at the event. Formed in November 2021, Final Crossing’s mission is to glorify the Lord through their music. They perform primarily Bluegrass Gospel with a mix of traditional bluegrass tunes.

Band members include Nathan Dubois (Fiddle), Curt Dubois (Upright Bass, vocals), Daniel Stephens (Guitar, vocals), Dwight Duckworth (Mandolin, vocals), and Randy Hill (Banjo, vocals). Dwight Duckworth is a pastor, and at least two other members serve as deacons in their churches. You can find samples of their music on YouTube here.

Our vendors are preparing delicious peach-themed treats, and we’ll be serving homemade peach ice cream—a perfect refreshment for a hot July day. Additionally, we will be selling seasoned peach wood from our farm, ideal for smoking fish, poultry, and pork.
